01 THE IDEA

Inspired by Four Sigmatic's Black Friday implementation, this is a Shopify (and potentially WooCommerce/other platforms) app that enables merchants to create a gamified bundle-builder experience: customers add products to a bundle, watch a progress bar fill, and unlock discount tiers or free gifts at spending thresholds (e.g., free shipping at $59, 40% off at $99). The UI is a dedicated, themed landing page — effectively a mini web app — that makes the shopping feel like a game and naturally drives higher average order values.

The app would be sold as a subscription on the Shopify App Store, requiring no custom dev work from merchants. Templates for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Summer Sale, and Prime Day would be included. The setup is low-code: merchants define their products, thresholds, and rewards, and the app generates the interactive page. Upsell opportunities include analytics, A/B testing of threshold levels, and seasonal campaign templates.
