What IdeasBerg is

IdeasBerg is an unofficial, fan-made index of business ideas pitched in public videos on Greg Isenberg’s YouTube channel. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Greg Isenberg or his companies. We do not host the videos; every idea links to its source on YouTube.

The write-ups, research, Berg Scores and verdicts are AI-assisted commentary produced against a fixed rubric, as described on the About page. They are provided for information only. They are not financial, legal, tax or investment advice, they can contain errors, and a verdict is not a recommendation that you start, fund or avoid any business. Do your own diligence.

Accounts

You may create an account to save favorites, receive digests, apply as a builder or request a build. Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site’s content beyond what our robots.txt permits, or use it to train models or build a competing dataset;
• interfere with the service, probe or circumvent its security, or access it by automated means that impose unreasonable load;
• post unlawful, deceptive, infringing or abusive content, or impersonate anyone;
• use the builders marketplace to spam, harass or defraud other users.

Builders marketplace

The Builders section introduces people who want an idea built to independent developers who have applied to take on projects. IdeasBerg makes the introduction only. We are not a party to any agreement between a seeker and a builder, we do not vet either side’s claims beyond what is shown on the site, and we do not guarantee the quality, delivery, pricing or legality of any work. Contract directly, in writing, and do your own checks.

Content and intellectual property

Videos, transcripts and the ideas as pitched belong to their creators. The analyses, scores, verdicts, site design and software are © Squidcode. You may link to any page and quote short excerpts with attribution to IdeasBerg; you may not reproduce substantial parts of the site or its data without written permission.

Content you submit — a builder profile, a build story, a brief — must be yours to share and lawful. You keep ownership of it and grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute it on the site as part of the service, for as long as it remains published.

If you are a rights holder and believe content on this site infringes your rights, or you are the subject of an analysis and want it reviewed or removed, contact us and we will act promptly.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Information on this site may be out of date or wrong.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Squidcode is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or any loss of profit, revenue, data or business, arising from your use of the site, reliance on its content, or any builder introduction. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free service is zero.

Changes and termination

We may change the site, these terms, or discontinue any feature at any time. Material changes to these terms will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept it. You may stop using the site and ask us to delete your account at any time.
