INDEX / CREATOR ECONOMY
Expert Archive to Agent Tool
Take a creator's or expert's years of content (videos, podcasts, newsletters) and package it as a job-specific AI tool their audience pays to use, with revenue split between builder and creator.
01 THE IDEA
Creators and subject-matter experts are sitting on years of valuable archived content — YouTube videos, podcast episodes, newsletters, templates — that currently monetizes only through ads, sponsorships, or occasional consulting. This business ingests that archive, transcribes and tags it by job/topic/framework/outcome, and builds a specific workflow tool on top of it. Not 'chat with the expert' (too vague) but a concrete outcome: paste your cold email and get a critique using this sales expert's framework, or paste your startup idea and get a wedge/customer/MVP using this founder's methodology.
The creator brings distribution and trust; the builder brings the technical architecture (vector DB with structured tagging, workflow UX, API/MCP layer). Revenue splits work as subscription ($19–$50/month), agency licensing, or eventual per-request agent payments as infrastructure matures. The Cloudflare angle is that the expert archive becomes a paid resource endpoint — agents pay per query to access the expert knowledge layer. The key differentiation from generic 'chat with X' products is the structured tagging by job, framework, and outcome, and the single specific workflow rather than open-ended chat.

03 THE VERDICT
The concept is compelling and the Cloudflare agent-payment angle adds a novel monetization layer not available with generic 'chat with expert' products. However, the business is highly dependent on landing the right creator partner (distribution + credibility) which is a BD-heavy, relationship-gated constraint. The 'job-specific workflow' differentiation is the right insight but execution risk is high — most teams building this get lazy with tagging and end up with an expensive search box. Worth building if you already have a strong creator relationship; risky to start cold.
Verdict: MAYBE — read why above. Still convinced? A vetted builder can pressure-test the scope before you commit.
