The app taps into the chats.db SQLite database that iMessage syncs to every Mac, ingesting years of text message history. Using a local LLM (for privacy), it analyzes communication patterns to surface insights like: which contacts exhibit narcissistic or manipulative behavior, where you're being passive or ineffective in conversations, which friends you're neglecting, and how to write more impactful messages. The 'looks maxing' trend on TikTok provides the cultural blueprint — this is 'message maxing.'

The viral distribution mechanic is obvious: TikTok videos of people showing their results ('the app said my boyfriend is a narcissist') will spread organically at zero CAC. The local LLM processing angle also addresses privacy concerns that would otherwise kill adoption. Revenue could be a one-time purchase or small monthly subscription. The hosts are candid this is probably a 1–2 year business before Apple absorbs the use case, but the first-mover can make real money fast.
