01 THE IDEA

Nebula is a platform that gives non-technical and technical users alike a conversational interface to spin up persistent AI agents connected to their real business tools — Google Slides, Ghost, PostHog, GitHub, Slack, Linear, Notion, and more. Users describe what they want in natural language; the agent figures out how to do it (including writing and executing its own Python code), connects to the relevant APIs, and runs either on-demand or on a cron schedule. It's positioned as 'Claude Code for everything that isn't engineering.'

The core innovation is the combination of: (1) persistent cloud execution environment with its own file system, (2) code generation + execution so the agent can self-build integrations it doesn't have natively, (3) scheduling/trigger system for autonomous recurring workflows, and (4) a multi-channel Slack-like UX that lets users manage many parallel agent workflows. The vision is compelling and the demo is impressive, but this space is getting crowded fast with well-funded competitors (Zapier AI, n8n, Lindy, Relevance AI) and existential platform risk from OpenAI and Anthropic building native agent systems. The window to build a standalone agent platform that reaches scale before incumbents catch up is narrow. Only pursue this if you have deep technical credentials and can move very fast on integrations and UX.
