Park Swap applies the proven Airbnb marketplace model to private parking spaces, allowing space owners to monetize unused driveways, garages, or lots while giving drivers an alternative to expensive commercial parking.

This is a well-understood concept with multiple existing players, meaning the market is validated but competitive. Success here depends heavily on geographic density—a marketplace needs both supply and demand in the same location to work. Differentiation would need to come from UX, pricing algorithms, or specific vertical focus (e.g., event parking, airport parking, monthly commuter parking).

Validated market concept but crowded with incumbents who've had years to solve the liquidity problem. Without a specific geographic focus, vertical niche (e.g., airport parking only), or proprietary supply acquisition strategy, it's hard to differentiate. Could work if launched in an underserved mid-tier city with no SpotHero/JustPark presence. The Airbnb comparison is catchy but the unit economics and cold-start challenge are harder than accommodation.
