Each organization re-runs the same process from scratch. This platform would standardize the reference check process, record and transcribe calls, and build a compounding database of structured talent intelligence — accessible to participants via a 'give to get' model where you must contribute data to access the database.

The business model mirrors Tegus (recorded expert calls as a database product) but applied to talent rather than investment research. Monetization could include SaaS subscriptions for HR teams, premium background verification services, or selling aggregated talent intelligence to executive search firms. This addresses a genuine pain point: reference calls are high-effort, low-information activities that most hiring managers find time-consuming and inconsistent.

The core insight — that reference checks are a high-frequency, high-value activity that generates unstructured data exhaust — is valid and the Tegus model provides a clear template.
