01 THE IDEA

The idea is to bridge the gap between expensive local coaches and remote instruction by leveraging commodity hardware (cameras, motion sensors, AirPods) to give remote coaches the same visibility they'd have in person. A baseball player at a batting cage sets up a phone tripod, an AirPod in ear, and a remote coach watches the swing data and video feed to provide real-time verbal corrections — just like a local coach would, but from anywhere in the world.

The idea is compelling and technically feasible today, but marketplace cold-start problems are brutal — you need coaches AND learners simultaneously.
