01 THE IDEA

Impeccable is a GitHub skill that gives AI coding agents specific design critique and improvement commands (critique, polish, bolder, quieter). The business idea is to find small software products where the website is confusing or poorly converting, run Impeccable's critique on it, implement specific improvements, and proactively show the founder what changed — as a conversation opener for paid design and optimization work.

The key insight is that the value isn't just the AI output — it's your design judgment in deciding which critiques to act on and your ability to explain why a change improves conversion, not just aesthetics. Start at $1,000/month per client for ongoing design maintenance, and 10 clients equals a $120K/year business. This compounds over time as you develop vertical expertise, build a repeatable audit process, and potentially productize into a SaaS CRO tool.

03 THE VERDICT

The permissionless outreach model — critique and fix first, pitch second — is extremely effective for design services because the deliverable speaks for itself. The $1K/month retainer math works well at small scale and is a proven path to a sustainable freelance business. The main risk is clients using tools like Impeccable themselves, but design judgment and implementation quality will keep good operators employed for years.
