01 THE IDEA

The core idea is a community/marketplace for design.md files — structured markdown blueprints containing typography, colors, spacing, animations, and WebGL instructions that anyone can download and attach to AI prompts to get consistent, high-quality designs. Right now these files are scattered or self-created; a centralized, rated, searchable repository would save builders hours and dramatically improve output quality.

The business model could be freemium: free basic design.md files to attract traffic, with premium files, curated collections, and skill packs sold individually or via subscription. Designers earn revenue sharing, making it a two-sided marketplace. With the rapid growth of vibe coding and AI-first development tools, the timing is excellent as the concept is still nascent.

03 THE VERDICT

The timing is nearly perfect — design.md is open source and new, the vibe-coding audience is massive and actively pain-aware, and no dedicated marketplace exists yet. A lean founder with design credibility could capture early SEO and community mindshare before Figma or V0 absorbs the use case. The two-sided marketplace dynamic creates compounding value and the capital requirements are very low.
