Meng To explicitly names 'reusable taste marketplace' as an idea worth building. The concept goes beyond templates or design.md files alone: it's selling an entire aesthetic identity — the combination of design principles, specific visual effects, typography choices, color philosophy, animation style, and copywriting tone — as a bundle that a founder can license and use as the soul of their AI-built product.

This is higher-value than a template marketplace because it's selling taste and judgment, not just pixels. Think of it as buying a designer's aesthetic DNA. The marketplace could be vertical (e.g., only SaaS landing pages, or only Web3 aesthetics, or only consumer wellness apps) to maintain quality. Pricing could be per-pack ($50–300) or subscription-based for studios. Creators earn 70% of sales, creating strong supply-side incentives.

The idea is genuinely novel and the timing is right, but marketplaces are notoriously hard to bootstrap due to the chicken-and-egg supply/demand problem. The ARR ceiling is high but the path there is uncertain without an existing audience.
