Google Gap Directory Strategy
A repeatable system for finding high-traffic keywords with no existing directory on Google page one, then rapidly building and iterating directories to capture that SEO gap.

This is less a single business and more a meta-strategy: use Google Keyword Planner (free) to find keywords with high search volume, then Google those keywords and check if the first page shows only blog posts (not directories). If no directory exists, build one. Build 10 simultaneously, drop the 7 that don't gain traction after a few months, and double down on the 3 that show early SEO signals. The insight is to suppress personal intuition entirely — the keyword data, not your preferences, determines which ideas to pursue.
The operator uses ChatGPT to generate 20 potential directory ideas for a given audience/niche, then runs all 20 through the keyword/Google test, and only builds the ones that pass. This portfolio approach accepts that most directories will fail but makes each attempt cheap enough that the math works out. Directories that succeed generate passive SEO traffic and can be monetized through listing fees, affiliate links, or lead generation.

03 THE VERDICT
This is the most systematized, lowest-risk idea in the video and the one with the most direct evidence of working (the speaker has done it repeatedly). The portfolio approach absorbs failure gracefully, the capital requirements are near zero, and the SEO moat grows over time. The only real downside is it's slow (6-12 months to see results) and not exciting — but 'boring and profitable' is underrated. Anyone willing to be methodical should pursue this.

LOWERING BARRIER TO DIRECTORY CREATION BROADLY
No-code directory builder templates are proliferating, making the build step even cheaper but also flooding the market with more competitors executing the same gap-finding strategy.
