01 THE IDEA

Boris identifies the CLAUDE.md file as the single most important lever for getting better results from Claude Code — his team updates it multiple times a week, checks it into Git, and uses it as a shared knowledge base. Yet most companies don't know what to put in it, let alone maintain it systematically. This is a consulting opportunity with a productized template component.

The service would work in two tiers: (1) a template library — industry-specific and stack-specific CLAUDE.md starter files sold as digital products, and (2) a retainer-based consulting offering where the agency audits a client's Claude Code sessions, identifies recurring errors or inefficiencies, and writes/maintains a tailored CLAUDE.md on an ongoing basis. As companies adopt Claude Code at scale, this becomes the equivalent of a 'prompt engineer' retainer but with a concrete, versioned deliverable that compounds in value over time — a direct echo of Boris's 'compound engineering' concept.

Clear demand signal from Boris himself — he said teams must keep CLAUDE.md updated constantly, yet most won't do it well without help.
