Conference Side-Event Aggregator App
A mobile app that aggregates all conference side events and unofficial gatherings into one beautiful map-based interface with one-click RSVP and attendee networking.
▶ WATCH THE SOURCE SEGMENT — SaaS apps that will print profits01 THE IDEA
Most conferences generate dozens of unofficial side events scattered across Luma, Eventbrite, Partiful, and random spreadsheets. Attendees waste hours hunting through these fragmented sources. This app scrapes and ingests all side event data, parses dates/times/locations, and presents everything on a clean map with one-click RSVP — solving a real pain point that currently relies on some volunteer aggregating a messy Google Sheet.
Beyond the one-player event discovery experience, the app evolves into a professional networking layer: every conference attendee appears in a directory, can DM others without sharing phone numbers, and can share location across events. An AI chatbot answers logistical questions trained on conference data. Monetization layers include a freemium subscription (~$50-250/event), advertising from sponsors, and eventually white-label B2B licensing to conference organizers — competing with legacy players like Cvent (~$4.5B market cap) that have outdated UX.

03 THE VERDICT
This is a textbook wedge strategy with a real, recurring pain point — the spreadsheet-aggregation problem is undeniably real and the distribution hack (host an event, get 800 RSVPs, get 800 app downloads) is clever and proven. The path from utility app to professional networking layer to LinkedIn competitor is plausible and the B2B white-label angle adds a second revenue stream. The main risk is that Luma or a well-funded competitor replicates the aggregation feature, so speed and niche focus (start with crypto conferences) matters.
