A marketplace selling pre-built, role-specific AI agent starter kits — agents.md files, memory templates, skill libraries, and MCP configs — that anyone can download and drop into Claude Code or any agent harness.
01 THE IDEA
The core insight from this video is that the 'AI OS' is really just a collection of markdown files (agents.md, memory.md, skill files) and MCP configurations. There is a clear opportunity to sell these as downloadable starter kits organized by role: executive assistant, head of marketing, sales agent, research analyst, etc. Buyers get an immediate head-start instead of building from scratch.
This is analogous to the WordPress theme marketplace or Notion template market but for AI agent configurations. Revenue models include one-time downloads, subscription access to a growing library, or a community marketplace where creators sell their own templates and the platform takes a cut. Given the near-zero marginal cost of digital goods, margins are exceptional.

The opportunity is real and the timing is early, but defensibility is the core challenge — markdown files are trivially copyable and the moat must come from community, curation quality, or distribution. PromptBase showed this model works initially but struggles long-term. Worth building if you already have an audience in the AI productivity space; harder to bootstrap from zero without distribution.
